Here we are at the end of 8th grade, moving on to
high school. We’ve all been through those ups and downs moment, but still, here
we are standing at the finish line. Who will know what next year will be like?
It might be bad or it might be good, it is all up to what you do and think. There
might be sometimes that we fall and feel like we don't want to face the failure
anymore. However, the biggest failure is when you don't try. Even thou you
might fall over and over again; have fortitude and finally you will success.

Napoleon Theme Park
The Napoleon Theme Park would definitely be a great place to visit, for both fun and education. I think having a theme park on Napoleon is a very creative idea because in my opinion, I believe that Napoleon is a pretty good and fair ruler then; by having the theme park will show both the good side and bad side of Napoleon. The Napoleon theme park will educate children about Napoleon life and how he had effected France's economy, education and policies.

Your surrounding environment or even people around you are some of the factors that can affect you personal courage. There are many different type of courage such as, moral courage, social courage, physical courage and spiritual courage. These examples of courage all have common factors that made up each one of them which are, confident and taking risks. Caring citizens
Sometime we don’t need to have computers, credit cards or brand name clothes to be happy, sometime we just need our heart and our dedication.
Last Friday our 8 grades went to the Father rays foundation in Pattaya, some of us went to the day care center, some went to take care of the blinds and some went to the Children village. In my case I went to the children village, we have two choice of what we want to do for the kids at the village. The first choice was to paint the playground for the kids and the second choice was to farm and weed. I took the second choice of farming and weeding to help the children in the children village. These kids grow their own crops and when it time to harvest, they kept some for their meal and the rest to sell to the local market.
We weeded 1 row of crops and also harvest 2rows of morning glory, the challenging part was when we have to pull the crops out from underground. Each time we harvest any crops, we need to make sure that the root comes out with it and is not stuck underground or else we have to find the roots and pull it out again before planting in another. Overall, I learned that we don’t need to be rich to make people happy, you just need to put some heart and care into what you do to help others.

Boston Tea Party
In our social study class on Wednesday, we did a seminar on the Boston Tea Party. We discussed about how the colonists boycott the British tea. At the end of the seminar we were asked about our opinion on the colonist, if they were patriots or terrorists. In my opinion, I believe that the colonists that disguised themselves as Indians in order to throw the British’s tea overboard were not terrorism. They were just expressing their feeling that they doesn’t need the British help, they just want their liberty back and their voice can be heard. The colonists were unhappy about the stamp act and the laws that said that they have to pay taxes on almost everything they buy. If we would connect this event to the current event one example would be on the event between the red shirts and the yellow shirts. The red shirt start the protest because of the fact that they want their voice to be heard and they feel unsupported where as the yellow shirt supported the law and prime minister himself. These two difference perspective then lead to a conflict between the two group just like a conflict between the colonists and the British parliament .

Quad Blog:D
Hi! my name is Panwa, i'm 14 years old and i am now studying in grade8(year9) at Ruamrudee Internation school Thailand, Bangkok. In the past few weeks Bangkok have been affected by massive flood crisis, it also had affected most of the student in R.I.S. First were having one week of October break, then because of the Flood crisis the school turned an October break into a half term break.
The school were close for 40days instead of 7 days, so now since we are back in school again some changes had been made to catch up to the work from the past few weeks. The school change the schedule from 7:15am-2:40pm to 7.00am-3.35pm, basically it added 15mins to every classes. Also, on December 10th the student will be attending school on Saturday, further more the advisement trip that was surpose to be 2 night and 3days was reduce to a one day field trip.
Above all that, I am really exciting about quad blogging! And also hope that we will all learn and benefit from each other through these blog posts:D

Thai innovation
During Thailand biggest flood, many problems have occurred but people are still helping out and supporting each other. Universities in Thailand are helping out by the ideas of inventing reusable things for flood crisis, such as using water bottles with hard cardboard for temporally boat as transportation.
When people are trap in a flooded community their electricity will be cut out and lack of food supply. Some people have to swim in a 1meter water to go out of their area to buy food for their family, we all know that the flood water are very dirty and they contain diseases and bacteria, so the Thai government and Jular University had invented a waterproof jump suit for wearing in the flood water. I think that this idea is great because many people need to walk in the dirty water, which are 1meters so it is about the adult chest, which is quite deep. This waterproof suit will protect you from diseases or small poison animals that come with the flood and also, it can be use over and over again.
